I graduated from Yale in 2024 with a double major in Humanities and Theater, Dance, & Performance Studies. While I was a student there, I was a director, producer, and playwright. My plays have been recognized in the Yale Playwrights Festival and the Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival. My plays The Mourning Show and The Final Flight of the Passenger Pigeon were awarded the Marina Keegan Award for Excellence in Playwriting in 2024. This is a place for me to collect some of the work I'm proud of.

The Final Flight of the Passenger Pigeon

The Mourning Show
Six friends return to Camp Two Arch as counselors in the summer after their first year of college. It’s not as fun as they remember. And the camp director is acting a lot weirder than they remember. Being behind the scenes gives them a much different perspective on the camp than they had when they were campers. Older Members follows six semi-best friends as they try to navigate the middle ground between growing up and being grown up.
In an island rainforest somewhere in the tropics, a team of scientists search for the last remaining member of a species of bird that may or may not be extinct. The canopy doesn’t let in much light, and the fact that the radio will only pick up the frequency of a 24/7 chicken wing advertisement does nothing to quell the team’s feelings of total isolation from the outside world. The Final Flight of the Passenger Pigeon explores the intersection of intimacy and loneliness, and what it means to feel like you’re the last living member of your species.
Lowell Matthews, former child star and host of tv’s hottest morning talk show, returns to the air for the first time in two weeks after the death of his former co-host and twin sister, Laurel. He’s doing fine–fabulous, really–just so long as nobody brings her up. Honestly, if he could just have a couple more weeks to process what happened, he’d feel almost back to normal. But reruns are boring and ratings are slipping, so Lowell finds himself back at work acting like nothing is wrong, even as the show unravels around him live on air. A play about work-life balance.
